Updates
Sus entered the hospital on August 21st with severe back pain. David came from CA on August 26th and left September 3rd. His expertise as a physician was exactly what was needed for us while in the hospital, to transition from the hospital to home on the 31st, and to settle in at home with hospice. We cannot thank our Lord enough for His amazing provision to us including the hurricane which canceled David’s speaking engagement in Orlando. I felt more prepared to care for Sus as we rest in our Lord's care and trust in His perfect timing!
Sus continues to decline with metastasized cancer in his bones head to toe, but our Lord
has blessed us with many visits from family; Wade (nephew) and Gina Narita above with Terry and Isaiah (September 2nd); below, granddaughter Kai from Rocklin, CA and grandson Jon from San Diego, CA on September 9th.
And here with the crowd from September 14-18: Charis from NY, Ben and Kelsey from CO, David from CA, Isaiah, Craig, and Terry from Parrish, FL! Selah was napping when the photo was taken but here she is with her mom a few days later.
September 26th: Sus is confused and sleeping more. But when awake, he loves to watch Monk - and he eats more if he's watching something. Hospice has been a support with nursing assessments, needed medications and equipment including a special mattress to minimize bedsores.
October 9th: Daniel and Dominque along with great-grandkids Aamir, Kenzo and Ayame (born October 5th!) visiting from New York. Aya was Sus' mother's name.
October 18th: Sus is home in the arms of his Savior and Lord!
THANK YOU for all your love, concern, and prayers for us these past two months!!!
